 Dublin West Community Church Assistant Pastor — Advert

Dublin West Community Church is seeking to recruit an Assistant Pastor. This is a unique opportunity to serve in a local church setting as well as being trained for future ministry. This will be a full-time training role consisting of a part time Assistant Pastor job alongside part-time study funded by the church. It is our vision that the successful candidate will learn and develop through a combination of on the job training and academic study. The work with the church will consist of 20-30 hours per week; the exact figure will be chosen to match the appropriate course of study for the successful candidate.

Dublin West’s mission as a church is that we seek to ‘Follow Jesus by loving God (up), loving one another (in), and loving our neighbour (out)’. We want an Assistant Pastor to serve the church by using their gifts and abilities to help us grow in our following of Jesus. The Assistant Pastor will model, teach, nurture and disciple a love for Jesus, His people and His world, and what it means to live out the Christian faith in today’s Ireland. The job will be based in Dublin 15.
