Dublin West Community Church started in Blanchardstown in 1990 when a number of Christians who lived in the area began meeting together.  It has grown steadily over the years and now consists of a diverse cross-section of ordinary residents from all walks of life who live or work in West Dublin.  Together, we want to explore how the teachings of Jesus relate to life in 21st-century Ireland. We believe that Jesus offers life as it is meant to be lived; life that is to be experienced in its fullness every day and everywhere. We are on this journey together and want to invite others to join us. None of us has made it yet, and we definitely haven't got it all together, but we do want to keep learning what this life looks like.
We are a local community church that wants to both participate in and contribute to the wider Dublin 15 community.  Therefore we seek to serve it using all of the resources available to us. You will often find members of our church involved in community organisations in the area.
